Judging Criteria

Project Evaluation Criteria

Criteria Points Description
Functionality 20 Judges will assess how well the project meets its intended purpose and functionality requirements. Does it work as intended, and are all the core features implemented effectively?
Completion 20 Evaluate the level of project completion within the given time frame. How many of the proposed features or objectives were successfully implemented? Consider the overall polish and completeness of the project.
Innovation 14 Evaluate the originality and creativity of the solution. Does it bring a new perspective or approach to the problem? Does it introduce unique features or methods?
User Experience (UX) 12 Consider the overall user experience of the project. Is it intuitive, easy to navigate, and visually appealing? Does it provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for the end users?
Code Quality 12 Evaluate the cleanliness, efficiency, and organization of the codebase. Is the code well-structured and maintainable? Are coding best practices followed? Assess factors like readability, modularity, and appropriate use of comments.
Technical Difficulty 12 Consider the complexity and sophistication of the technical aspects involved in the project. Does it demonstrate a high level of technical skill or require advanced problem-solving?
Scalability 10 Assess the potential scalability of the project. Can it handle increased user loads and data volumes? Is it built in a way that allows for easy expansion and adaptation in the future?
Presentation and Communication 10 Assess how effectively the team presents and communicates their project to the judges. Are they able to clearly explain the problem they tackled, the solution they developed, and the technical details behind it?
Impact and Usefulness 10 Consider the potential impact and usefulness of the project in real-world scenarios. Does it solve a significant problem or provide value to its target audience? Assess the potential for adoption and impact on a broader scale.
